Please feel free to leave your thoughts and/or comments about any of the cases that we are highlighting below. All these cases have touched both of us greatly and have inspired us to start this blog to help people focus on the crimes that are effecting normal people like you and me.  We are not sure what this blog will evolve into but hopefully it will help someone out there in some small way.

We would also entertain any advice on how to improve our site.  I guess at this point, our ultimate goal is to provide a conduit for crimes making news.

Laura Garza

On December 3, 2008, 25 year old Laura Garza left a trendy nighclub in Chelsea with two men on her arm.  One a registered sex offender and the other an unknown friend of the registered sex offender.  The registered sex offender has recently turned himself into authorities.   She has not been seen alive since.   Click here for the latest developments.

Taylor Behl – FOUND DEAD; ACQUINTANCE CONVICTED SERVING 30 YEAR SENTENCE

On September 5, 2005, 17 year old Taylor Behl left her dorm room at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond to give her roommate and her boyfriend privacy.  She took with her a cell phone, some cash, a student ID and her car keys.  She was never seen alive again.  Roughly two weeks later, her car was found near the VCU campus with stolen Ohio license plates.   On October 7, her body was recovered in a shallow grave 75 miles east of Richmond.  On August 10, 2006, a 39 year old amateur photographer was sentenced to 30 years in prison.  Click her for the latest developments.

Alisha Sidie – FOUND DEAD; EX HUSBAND CONFESSED

On November 7, 2008, 27 year old mother of twin two year old boys Alisha Sidie, according to her ex husband’s account, left home on foot after an argument.  She was never seen alive again.  Roughly 7 days later, her body was recovered in the woods about a mile or so away from the family home.  The couple apparently divorced (finalized in September 2007).  The ex has now confessed to fatally shooting Alisha right in front of their home.   There appears to be some history of domestic violence.   Click here for the latest developments.

Liliana Beatrice Iboa – FOUND ALIVE

Sometime around Friday, November 7, 2008, Lilana Beatice Iboa, 20, and her 3 year old daughter Karen Bianay Cervantes were allegedly kidnapped from their home in Avondale, Arizona.    Her husband, who was out of town, reported them missing after he received a call from a man inside the home demanding a ransom.  Keep your ears and eyes open out there in Avondale and help bring them home safely.   Apparently, the kidnappers released both unharmed.  Some.   Click here for the lastest developments.

Nadia Kira Kersh

On November 3, 2008, 23 year old mother of a 1 year old son Nadia Kira Kersh left work at the Tria Market for her lunch hour.  She was never seen alive again.  Daycare became concerned when she didn’t pick up her son that night and notified family.   Her car was found abandoned the next day in an alley.  There now appears to be a person on interest in the case.    Click here for the lastest developments.

Michelle Gardner-Quinn

On October 7, 2006, Michelle was walking back to her dorm when her cell phone went dead.  So she innocently asked a stranger if she could use his cell phone.  She was never heard from again.  Fortunately, a jewelry store security camera captured the encounter and the monster was ultimately brought to justice for rape and murder.  Click here for the latest developments.

Corrie Anderson

On October 28, 2008, 36 year old mother of three Corrie Anderson left the Dodge dealership located in Lake County after visiting a friend.  She has not been seen since.  Her family notified police later that afternoon when she missed a parent/teacher conference and didn’t pick up her 6 year old son after school.  Two days later, a hunter found Corrie’s blue van by a gas well roughly ½ mile walking distance from her home but there was no sign of Corrie.  Several interesting facets surround this case.  One, rumor is that she is dating/involved with someone from the dealership and that is why she was there that afternoon.  Two, neighbors say that Corrie told them she came home from work recently and found someone had broken into her home and rearranged her furniture.  Three, Corrie told friends that she was threatened with a gun (not sure by whom though).  And finally, no one really seems to know if Kenneth Anderson, who was questioned for a few hours and then released, and Corrie are divorced or still in the process of divorce.   Click here for the latest developments.

Anne Pressly – SUSPECT ARRESTED

This is just an awful story of a yet another young, energetic woman on her way up the ladder and brutely brought down for absolutely no reason.  Let’s try and figure out what happened and bring the monster to justice.  Click here for the latest developments.

Tiffany Marie Souers

In May 2006, Tiffany was found dead in her Clemson off-campus apartment.  I remember reading that she was strangled with her own bikini bottom.  The monster, Jerry (Buck) Inman, who confessed to the crime has been arrested, convicted and is awaiting sentencing.  Oh yeah, did I mention he was a registered sex offender.  Click here for the latest developments.

Nailah Franklin

In September 2007, this 28 year old pharmaceutical sales representative’s life was brutely taken away from her and her family and friends.  Such a selfish act of a monster.  This woman looked like the picture of all good things in the world.  Successful, beautiful, friendly, energetic, etc.  She appeared from all the photos and comments I saw and read to have so much to give and it was all brutely taken away.  Reginald Potts alledgedly dated Nailah for a short time prior to her murder.  This one made me cry.  Click here for the latest developments.
